My collaboration with Helbling keeps going on..not only for schoolbooks but also for kid's books.
The new english book they asked me to illustrate is "Next Door" written by Robert Campbell.
It's a fun reading about Eoin , a boy crazy for astronomy, and his new strange neighbors.
I made more than 40 full color illustrations and here's some samples.

SInce the start of the year, I'm working with a Milan based communication studio: Slang Comunicazione.
This collaboration gave me the chance to approach to a new illustration field: visualizing.
Short deadlines and rough drafts are interesting part of this job!
I'll let you know how this thing will grow..but for now check this new gallery!

A wonderful book hits the stores: Michael Fleishman's "Drawing Inspiration" visual artists at work.
It's a very good reading for all of those interested in illustration, full of illuminating interviews and amazing international arts gathered cleverly by Mike Fleishman.
Mike made great efforts to make the perfect book and here I want to thank him for inviting me in this project!

Last year and part of 2010, I was busy working on a serie of 3 volumes.
Published by Zanichelli, it's an english course for schools, 2 books (elementary and pre-intermediate) of 3 are finished and the total is 400+ color illustrations!!
I would like to thank Lindy Russell: even when the pressure was high and the deadlines were close, she was always helpfull and kind.

Last year Eli publisher made a new serie of kids books based on classic novels.
One of those was Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice".
Art director Daniele Garbuglia asked me to be part of the project...so here are the some pics.
All the illustrations are mine...cover, internal pages and even exercises images.
The novel gave me great inspirations and I try to evolve a bit my stile.
Daniele was very helpfull to reach the right feeling.

Last year I was contacted by graphic studio Kitiri for illustrating a brochure.
The brochure was about a association (Associazione Comuni Virtuosi) promoting eco sustainability.
